Gorgeous aerial photo of Venice

Venice is one of the most photographed cities in the world, so it is extremely difficult to get unique pictures of this place. Nevertheless, the photographer and architect Dimitar Karanikolov succeeded.

People often think that the best views of Venice can be captured from a boat, but Karanikolov takes incredible pictures of the city’s architecture on the water with the help of drones.

The photographer wakes up early to catch the sunrise, and uses the drone to capture the marvelous panoramas of the city. "Aerial photography allows you to look at the world from top to bottom. This is possible only with the help of a drone or satellite- says Dimitar. - These shots are very architectural, plan-like and very different from the human everyday perspective. ".

Slightly burnt brownish tones predominate in the color palette of the photo, which perfectly emphasize the contrast of terracotta roofs tightly pressed together, waves of blue channels and white marble facades. The shots of Caranikolov recall the ancient aerial maps of Venice, such as Jacobo de Barbari's "View of Venice".
