Artist complements travel photo with fun paper clippings

While most people, looking at buildings, see only ordinary buildings in them, the artist Rich McCor imagines much more. An avid traveler wisely and with humor reinterprets famous sights and favorite tourist places around the world, supplementing them with his paper works.

Over the years, McCor has transformed the most famous landscapes of our planet, and it seems he does not intend to stop. In one of the last series of shots, he turns the Tokyo copy of the Statue of Liberty into a weightlifter, "handing" her a bar, and a rock in Canada - into a terrifying bear. He says that when he took this picture in Canada, he recalled a childhood story about a New Brunswick bear, who went looking for adventures with a Canadian during the day, but turned into stone with eveningfall.
