In Uruguay, built a circular bridge so that drivers can enjoy the views

At the end of 2015, the construction of a circular bridge was completed, stretching across the Garzon lagoon between the cities of Rocha and Maldonado on the south coast of Uruguay. The construction of the bridge, designed by Rafael Vignoli, took 12 months. The new structure has replaced the traditional bridge, it is designed to inspire drivers to enjoy beautiful views.

"The Puente Laguna Garzon concept involves turning traditional car traffic into a slow trip with the ability to enjoy panoramic views of amazing landscapes and landscapes while at the same time creating a pedestrian zone in the center," says Vignoli.
