Costa Rica has one of the most bizarre hotels in the world!

In the small South American country of Costa Rica, two-thirds of the territory is occupied by tropical forests, which boast truly unique flora and fauna.

Spouses Erica and Matt Hogan just fell in love with this place and decided to settle here forever. So there was a whole settlement on the trees called "Finca Bellavista."

It consists of real tree houses.

The balcony offers views of the forest and mountains.

Once husband and wife acquired 600 acres of forest intended for deforestation. They preserved priceless trees and began to equip housing so as not to damage the plants.

Everything inside the houses is made of environmentally friendly materials and, of course, mosquito nets are hung everywhere, which you can’t do without in the tropics.

Standard lounge. Instead of a table - an old chest.

You can go from one house to another via a suspension bridge.

There is where to ride with the breeze.

Several families live here permanently. In the photo - a complex of common houses: a dining room, baths, rings for a fire. Electricity is brought only here.

Each resident grows vegetables and fruits himself. Guest houses also have kindergartens, and anyone can take care of the plants.

A lake where you can dive from a cliff.

Local pigeons.

Monkeys also want to eat, you have to share!
