12 memorable photos of how people fled to the Middle East in the 40s

Today, Europe is seriously suffering from the migration crisis. An adequate solution to the very sad and tragic situation, alas, is not visible in the short term. It seemed interesting to us at TravelAsk that a little over 70 years ago, people already ran along the same roads towards their salvation. True, then they moved in the opposite current direction - to Syria, Egypt and Palestine. The fact is that during the Second World War, special camps were located here, in which refugees were received and provided with proper assistance. Thousands of people from Europe have found shelter and protection on these lands.
