Jill Bliss is an artist (and also a naturalist, teacher, farmer, watchman and dean), who lives on a small island in the Salish Sea in the northwest Pacific Ocean. In 2012, she sold her house and almost everything she had to move to this island and reunite with nature after a busy designer career in New York and San Francisco.

Once on a island a woman discovered beautiful wild mushrooms. They inspired Bliss so much that they turned into the “heroes” of the artist’s new photo project called Natural Mixtures. Jill's pictures fascinate with incredibly bright and variegated colors, from which it is impossible to break away.
